The Axe and Compass is a 15th Century thatched family run village pub which is located in the heart of our beautiful village. Displayed inside in the bars are numerous black and white photographs showing the history of the pub and village. Since the village no longer has a shop the pub also sells stamps, chocolates and other off sale items.
