Built by Sir John Soane in 1794 for the 3rd Earl of Hardwicke, who was passionately interested in farming and agricultural improvement, the farm is now home to a fascinating range of rare animal breeds, including sheep, goats, cattle, pigs and horses. The Great Barn contains a collection of farm implements dating back 200 years and interpretive displays.
