The Town of St. Neot’s, near the Cambridgeshire–Bedfordshire border was formerly known among ‘the sister towns of Huntingdonshire’; St. Neot’s, Huntingdon are linked by the Great Ouse and are of similar size and character.

St. Neot’s has an 800-year-old market place, which is flanked by many attractive, listed buildings. Weekly markets are still held every Thursday. The town also boast an extremely attractive church; St. Mary the Virgin is sometimes referred to as ‘the cathedral of Huntingdonshire’ and is well worth a look.

St. Neot’s is probably best enjoyed on the banks of the river, where you can enjoy unspoilt views. In the summer months their council run boat trips in an open top cruiser on weekends and bank holidays. Priory Park is also a good spot to relax, unwind and watch the world go by. It was once the private property of the Rowley family, Lords of the Manor, but is now lovely, unspoilt parkland, which the public can enjoy.
