Kersey is a fabulously picturesque village to rival only Lavenham aesthetically. It really only consists of one main street, however, this is lined with quaint timber framed houses that are quintessentially English.
Kersey scarcely has a building without character. The beautiful timber framed Bell Inn to the River House by the ford with its massive Elizabethan door. Every building makes up the gorgeous historic village which you'll feel like you've stept back in time when visiting.
This really is enough reason to visit the lovely little place. This is lucky as there is not really much for the tourist here other than the architecture and the odd tea room.If you plan to visit Suffolk you cannot possibly leave without seeing Kersey.
