To the north of the Tendring Peninsula is Frinton-on-Sea, which is a much more sedate place than it's neighbour Clacton-on-Sea.

You won’t find any seaside amusements here, just tidy gardens and a few benches, on which to enjoy the peace and quiet. The town does have some pleasant art-deco buildings and offers some good walks.
