Kings Lynn & the Fens Travel Guide

The port of Kings Lynn dates back to the Middle Ages and the old town is full of history. The country north towards the resort of Hunstanton has a number of grand houses to visit. Its most famous resident, the Queen, opens the doors to her Sandringham Estate to the public throughout the summer. The fens are home to a number of pleasant market towns such as Downham Market and Swaffham. March is also attractive and the beautifully preserved streets of Wisbech have been used in some period dramas.
