The Mason Arms is the spot I seek out on the odd occasions I visit Bury. The last time was March 2007. They do a very good lunch, with tasty specials and (unusually for a pub) crisp, freshly-cooked vegetables. Reasonable prices - about £7 for a main course - and the food comes swiftly, but it can get a bit busy, so be prompt if you want a seat by the window.
