Stowmarket is a market town in Suffolk, East Anglia. The town is on the A14 between Suffolks main towns of Ipswich and Bury St. Edmunds.

Stowmarket is a typically English town, population approximately 16,000 inhabitants. The town is surrounded by some of Suffolks most picturesque villages and scenery. The town's market is worth a visit, it is held every thursday and saturday and sells alot of the locally made goods.

Stowmarket is the home of Suffolks only open air museum which is the Museum of East Anglian Life. The 70 acre grounds feature a glimpse of the Stowmarket past, it is a great day out for all the family.

Stowmarket has a great social scene if you are into something it bit more lively the town has many active clubs and pubs to suit every taste.
