The Suffolk Coast Travel Guide

This stretch of the Suffolk coast is packed with gems: there is the ancient Sutton Hoo burial site; the attractive town of Aldeburgh, which hosts the annual music festival, founded by Benjamin Britten and his lover Peter Pears; and the genteel town of Southwold with its elegant Georgian architecture, and pretty pastel beach huts. A good way to soak up all the delights of this designated area of outstanding natural beauty is to undertake the Suffolk Coast Walk, which runs between Felixstowe and Lowestoft.
