I went to Moments restaurant with two relatives. . To be honest, I didnt expect much of it. The restaurant is situated in Scratby, which is a lovely little resort frequented by caravaners.
I was expecting fish and chips, and a bland menu.
What I got was something truly spectacular.
To start, I had king prawns on skewers - these were fried off in a garlic butter mixture. They were the best king prawns I had ever had and were gone in moments- literally! Just the right amount for a starter as well.
For my main, I had beef au poivre, cooked rare. The beef was mouth wateringly tender and the sauce perfect - if a little too excessive.This meal came with a good mixture of vegetables and potatoes.
For dessert I had a meringue cake, cooked on the site. This was delicious and a good size also.
During my meal, I had several glasses of house red wine, which was suprisingly good and robust.
The meal was perfect and a good price too - the best meal I have had in a long time. Congratulations Moments!
