The Norfolk Broads & Coast region has excellent road links to all of the UK. Great Yarmouth is served by two main routes, the A12 and A47.

  • From the south the A12 travels from Lowestoft through Gorleston to serve Great Yarmouth
  • A stretch of the A47, linking London to Great Yarmouth is single carriageway close to Norwich
  • The A143 travels southwest from Great Yarmouth to Bury St Edmunds
  • The A149 travels along the coast linking Great Yarmouth to Cromer & Sheringham
  • The majority of the rural areas are served by single carriageways
