Great Yarmouth lies on a strip of land that sits between the River Yare to the west and the North Sea to the east. It is one of the UK's most popular seaside destinations, with 15 miles of sandy beaches in the Great Yarmouth area, it is a perfect family holiday resort.
Originally, the focus of the town and harbour was on the riverside of the town and it wasn't until the Victorians developed a love of sea bathing that the town extended along the front.
