Central London has eight main railway stations, all have tube stations, bus stops and taxi ranks within or near them. Waterloo and Victoria are the closest train stations to the West End, serving the south and south-west of the UK, with King's Cross and Euston to the north and serving the north of the UK. Paddington and Marylebone are west of the city and serve the west of the UK while Liverpool Street is to the east and serves the east of the UK. Station link buses run a circular route stopping at the main stations.
