The Royal Vauxhall Tavern's multi award-winning variety night is heading into the Barbican again with their saucy Christmas show. Guests are divided into categories, roughly equivalent to aristos, bourgeois worthies, and proles.
You pick your social class whether it’s upper, middle or working and take your seats for a slap-up Christmas feed. The food you are served depends also on the class you have chosen; the upper will be dining with champagne and succulent pheasants, whilst the working will enjoy turkey and Lambrusco.
All this is accompanied by uniquely degrading audience participation theatre from the Duckie, whose performers will be wandering from table to table, alternately entertaining and embarrassing their guests.
