Hatton Garden is London’s diamond and jewellery centre and has been since medieval times. The streets are packed with jewellers, but it is not unheard of to spot a trade taking place on the roadside.
The street is not particularly long and not particularly interesting, but if you're after a glistening nugget or a drop of gold then this is where you'll need to come.
There are good places to eat and drink in nearby Clerkenwell or Bloomsbury.
