London Victoria Coach Station is the UK hub for coach travel around Britain & all European destinations. National Express scheduled coaches link all major English towns & cities while the Eurolines European coach network serves more than 300 European destinations. Touring Britain by coach is ideal for travellers on a budget - lots of discounts are available, some only to tourists. The coach network is a great low cost alternative to the sometimes unreliable UK trains.

Victoria Coach Station Facilities

  • The arrivals terminal is on Elizabeth Street
  • Departures are from the terminal on Buckingham Palace Road
  • 250 yards from Victoria train & tube stations
  • Departures information is on screen in the station entrances
  • The main entrance information desk opens 7.45am - 9pm
  • The information desk near gate 11 opens 10am - 6pm
  • A 24 hour help point is opposite Gate 21
  • The Travel Counter next to the ticket hall open 8am - 7pm sells air, coach, rail, ferry and hovercraft tickets
  • The Information Kiosk in arrivals has info for all services provided by Transport for London
  • Continental & Irish check-in: arrival is recommended one hour before time of departure at the area behind Gate 19
  • Self-employed porters can be hired to help carry luggage - there are no trolleysBaby changing facilities are located in both Departure & Arrivals
  • Left Luggage is behind Gate 6, open from 7am - 11pm
  • Refreshments are available from a variety of outlets
  • There are 2 Bureaux de Change, opposite gate 11 & in the arrivals terminal, both are Western Union money transfer agents
  • The station has more than 65 payphones
  • Facilities for E-Mail & internet access in both terminals
  • There are 2 smoking permitted areas between gates 21 - 1 &
  • next to gate 11
  • Lost Property items found on coaches are handed in at the coach companies depot, items found in the coach station are kept for one month at the help point then passed to London Transport lost property office at Baker Street if unclaimed.

  • To Leeds, Dyer Street bus and coach station - 4 1/2 hours
  • To Manchester central, Chorlton Street coach station 4 3/4 hours direct
  • To Edinburgh, St Andrew Square, Scotland 9 1/2 hours direct
  • To Dublin, Bus Eireann, Busaras, Ireland, minimum 11 3/4 hours
