Her Majesty Theatre is home to one of London’s most renowned musicals, the Phantom of the Opera, created by Andrew Lloyd Webber, which has been attracting full capacity audiences since 1986.
Originally the lead roles were filled by Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman and since its opening, there have been more than 20 productions world wide, with numerous actors playing the lead.
Phantom of the Opera depicts the tragic love story of a beautiful opera singer and a young composer, who is forced into a shadowy existence, in order to hide the shame of his physical appearance.
