Two worlds collide here along a six mile stretch of the Thames. Alongside, the Docklands is truly a wonder, having risen, phoenix-like, from the ashes of the shipping industry since the 1980’s. It is home to 50,000 workers daily mainly centred on the Isle of Dogs around Canary Wharf. There are some good bars and restaurants situated dramatically along the waterfront.
