For a great selection of pubs and restaurants head to Kentish Town. However, it rates a mention if only for the Lord Palmerston on the corner of Chetwynd Road and Dartmouth Park Hill – it is a fantastic spot that was a gastro-pub long before the term was even invented!
Despite the name there is not a park there anymore, although there is a small green on the edge of the reservoir just across Islington now named Dartmouth Park Hill Park.
