With a head full of culture and history the perfect place to reflect is Hampstead Heath, which covers several hundred acres of land. The heath has two bathing ponds, one for the exclusive use of women. They are very busy on warm days, but there is a ban on mobiles and radios, which makes it a peaceful spot nevertheless.
You can pay a visit to the home of John Keats, one of Hampstead’s most famous residents, where you can sit under the plum tree where he penned Ode to a Nightingale.
Kenwood House is a grand stately home that stands tall amidst the sprawling heath, where a romantic afternoon can be spent listening to a summer concert in idyllic surroundings.
