Kilburn is primarily residential, with few major visitor attractions. Ten or fifteen years ago Kilburn was known as a very rough area, racially very diverse. However with the property market going sky-high the area soon followed West Hempstead into becoming a desirable place to live. West Hampstead is a real gem of it's area. One of the area’s best kept secrets is the 'Little Bay Restaurant'. While this place doesn’t serve cuisine that will totally knock your socks off, it does offer a fantastic balance between quality of food, atmosphere and value.
