The Baby Show housed in Earls Court 1, takes place from 20-22 October 2006 and is the UK’s largest event concerning pregnancy, babies and toddlers. Unfortunately babies don’t come with a manual but that’s where the Baby show steps in, as they fill you in on the fascinating world of parenting.

The Baby Show is a three day event with expert advice, 1000’s of essentials for the growing family to try and buy, the latest travel systems, pregnant mums to be can indulge themselves at the carvings café and there’s plenty to keep your little one amused.

Perhaps your child could be the face of the baby shows, find out about modelling opportunities or watch the comforteers fashion show presented by Tess Daly, then take the kids to meet their favourite animated characters.

Get invaluable advice from health professionals, get fabulous parenting tips from “Nanny Wisdom” alias celebrity nanny Justine Walsh or chat with Annabel Karmel about preparing healthy food, the author of 14 best sellers on child nutrition.

Celebrate - The National Poet of Scotland

Robert Burns

2009 marks the 250th anniversary of Scottish poet Robert Burns' birth. Burns was a poet and a lyricist and is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland.

The Burns Supper was started a few years after his death by a group of his friends; they held the supper to honour and remember Burns. The tradition caught on and the ritual of Burns Supper is now held all around the world.

His life and work will be celebrated throughout the year at many Burns-related events.
