Watford was a small country market town in the 19th century, but because of the railways and industry it turned into a thriving, prosperous town. Famous as the birthplace of Geri Halliwell (aka Ginger Spice), here you will find numerous pubs and nightclubs and a diverse nightlife to suit every taste.

Check out the 110ft church, which stands in the centre of Watford, it is a spacious stone structure, with a lofty tower.

If shopping is more your thing the pay a visit to the Harlequin Shopping Centre, here you will find a vast choice of fashion from high street to designer labels. Despite the town's rapid growth, picturesque villages such as Bushey and Croxley Green with a great choice of pubs surround Cassiobury park covers 230-acres, and Watford.
