Loughton Gymnastics Club is affiliated to the British Gymnastics Association and holds friendly fun filled classes, with fully qualified and experienced coaches. We teach basic skills through to advanced agilities to children from 5 years old.
Gymnastics develops strength, flexibility, balance, co-ordination and it is an excellent preparation for all other sports. We encourage our gymnasts to take part in displays, as well as nationally recognized BGA Award Schemes.
We provide a full range of apparatus including: asymmetric bars, 9m airtrack, vaults, extensive floor area, trampoline, beams & trampette. All abilities are welcome at the club and children must be 5 and over and the first lesson is free.
Loughton Gymnastics Club operates most nights and Saturday mornings and takes part in the Nationally recognized BGA Award Schemes plus an additional rewards scheme. Furthermore the club takes part in the annual Chigwell show with an amazing display from all the gymnasts.

2009 marks the 250th anniversary of Scottish poet Robert Burns' birth. Burns was a poet and a lyricist and is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland.
The Burns Supper was started a few years after his death by a group of his friends; they held the supper to honour and remember Burns. The tradition caught on and the ritual of Burns Supper is now held all around the world.
His life and work will be celebrated throughout the year at many Burns-related events.
