Milton Keynes & Buckingham Travel Guide

Milton Keynes is not usually thought of as a top tourist destination, but this New Town is extremely handy for host of interesting places. The National Trust owned Claydon House features some of the most lavish 18th-century rococo and chinoiserie decoration in the country, and also has links with Florence Nightingale. Nearby Stowe Gardens, where Capability Brown was head-gardener for a decade, are among Europe’s finest, and Woburn Abbey can boasts one of the finest privately owned art collections in the world, and a safari park, among its attractions.
