Milton Keynes is a rarity, being a well-designed new town. Building started in 1967, and today it has tree lined streets, lots of parkland, and a huge selection of shopping and leisure activities.

Bletchley Park was the centre for code breaking in World War Two. Over 12,000 men and women worked here, and their work is believed to have helped end the war 2 years earlier than was expected.

Woburn Abbey stands in 3000-acres of parkland, and has one of the worlds best privately owned art collections, including famous works by Gainsborough and Rembrandt. In the surrounding parkland is Woburn Safari Park, the country’s biggest drive-through wild life park. An Africa plain has been recreated, and here you can view rare White Rhinos. The park also features tiger and lion enclosures, as well as a boating lake, adventure playground and railway.
