Sopwell Nunnery is a beautiful, romantic ruin, of what used to be a Tudor mansion, built around 1560.

The house was built, on the land of the old medieval nunnery, which its self dates back to 1140.

  • The Nunnery was designed around the monastic plan, using the church for the hall and the cloisters became the courtyard.
