The city trail in St Albans, covers a great distance of around, 3 miles and allows you to discover some of the, best known attractions of St Albans, at you own pace. The walk will take around one and a half to two hours, plus any time looking in the attractions such as, the cathedral and museums.

  • You can also take part in a guided tour, the tour guides lead the walks between Easter and October, and cover topics like the roman Verulamium, the medieval town, coaching inns and a ghost walk. The trail begins at the Tourist and Information Centre, which is situated in the Town Hall.
