Moreton-in-Marsh is in the heart of the Cotswolds at the head of the Evenlode valley. It is a thriving market town dating back 1000 years to the Saxon era.
It has a lovely High Street which is lined with elegant 17th and 18th Century buildings, amongst them is the White Hart Royal, a former manor house in which King Charles I lived during the Civil War.
This small, friendly town provides a wide range of facilities and holds the largest open-air street market in the Cotswolds every Tuesday. Moreton-in-Marsh is an ideal place to discover the world famous Cotswolds.
