This design-led bar and canteen is a funky, quirky drinking and eating spot with a late licence at weekends and a fun buzz all the time. The bar is downstairs, a baby blue and chocolate mousse brown striped area with retro touches and bespoke seating.
The restaurant is upstairs, a raspberry confection with rose petals encapsulated in resin screens. Drinks are great, of course, and the international British menu is a complete rethink of trad menus.
Categories like 'To Share' include an Asian platter, Comfort Stuff has pork and leek sausages with bubble and squeak and onion gravy. Brunch is served every day until four. A selection of low-fat fine guilt-free dishes helps you keep yourself on the straight and narrow.
