Weybridge is in the centre of Surrey’s stockbroker belt, 19 miles south of London, this is a very up-market commuter town with a quiet, reserved feel.

The Brooklands Museum on the outskirts of town is a wonderful 30-acre site, and is known as the birthplace of British motor sports and aviation. The track was built in 1907, and for 30 years speed records were set here. Brooklands was also the first place anyone in England flew an aeroplane in 1908. Brooklands is a must see for any motoring or aviation fan.

Runnymede Meadows in Egham is where King John sealed the Magna Carta in 1215. There is a memorial dedicated to this momentous event, as well as one to John F Kennedy. Opposite the meadows is Runnymede Pleasure Grounds, this is a beautiful riverside park and is popular with fishermen and a great place for picnics, and you can also catch boat trips to Windsor.
