Kirby Hall

The beautiful Kirby Hall is one of England's greatest 17th century, Elizabethan houses. This vast mansion is partly roofless, although most of its walls survive to their full impressive height, as does the fasinating three-tier inner porch.

  • Kirby Hall's beautiful rich decoration, shows that its successive owners were always full of new ideas about architecture and design, the Great Hall and state rooms also remain intact, and have been fully referbished and redecorated to authentic, 17th and 18th-century specifications.
