Burrough Hill and Somerby walk is a 9km / 5.3 miles round trip which mainly follows footpaths and small walking tracks but there are some steep climbs occasionally.

Burrough Hill is one of the most historically important sites in East Leicestershire; it would have been used as a strong defensive position.

  • The Iron Age fort on Burrough Hill can be climbed and offers picturesque views all around.
