Nottingham, Derby and the Peak District are served by the nearby international airports at Birmingham, East Midlands and Manchester. All have frequent train, coach and bus services to the Peak District and North Midlands.

The London airports are also easy to travel from by train, car or coach. Certain direct trains and coaches from Derby and Chesterfield call at Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton Airport Parkway.

Manchester Airport

  • Located 10 miles southwest of Manchester city centre off junction 5 of the M56
  • To Derby - 73 miles , 1 hour 30 mins drive approx
  • To Nottingham - 74 miles, 1 hour 45 mins drive approx

Birmingham Airport

  • On the A45 (Birmingham to Coventry Road) just off junction 6 of the M42
  • To Derby - 43 miles , 55 mins drive approx
  • To Nottingham - 48 miles, 1 hour drive approx
