Great value, great location, great stay

Posted by GeoffH from Dallas, United States

The location of the apartments is wonderful; close to shopping, travel, and dining. The apartment community is quiet and well-maintained. There was plenty of room for myself, and still felt comfortable with my wife and daughter. This was a much better alternative to a hotel for a long stay, and even for a short trip, you can feel more at home.

Good for the long stay traveller

Posted by Greg Jones from Peterborough, United States

PSA offers a convient package for the long stay busiiness traveller. The apartment was clean, modern, and had all the furnishings supplied. It was very nice to have everything provided including TV, Stereo, DSL Internet connection, and even a laptop. And someone came by once a week to replace the linens and tidy-up a bit.

No complaints here and would stay here again.

Better than a hotel

Posted by Rob from Canada, Canada

I travel a lot so to find a short term apartment for two weeks was a much better deal than hotel living. I found I could truly relax at night after a hard day as I was able to make the apartment my own. I was never really able to do that in a hotel. DVD player, stereo, washing machine, need I say more!

A number of our staff have had the pleasure of staying at one of the "Peterborough Serivced Apartments". It has definitely lived up to it's advertisment. The apartment is ALWAYS clean and one that we have felt secure in. Highly recommend! Look forward to our next trip over! A great value for the business traveler!

Good Value

Posted by Bob1952 from Plainfield, United States

Spent several weeks in this apartment over a period of months in 2007. Clean, comfortable, safe, fully furnished, newer, home away from home. David is great to work with.

Great local base!

Posted by a Traveller from Newcastle upon Tyne, United States

I booked this apartment from a link sent to me by a collegue, and was very pleasantly surprised! A neat, fashionably furnished 3 bed apartment within a few stops of Peterborough centre on the bus. It's a new estate, with excellent access and parking if you have a car. I didn't, so I was happy to see there was a bus stop very near on Oundle Road (it's £2.80 for a day rider) and there is a large Budgens supermarket within 2 mins walk at the entrance to the estate. (It's built on the old British Sugar site.) The flat is very secure with it's own alarm, and a phone entry system. The decor is modern and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen including a washer and microwave. Each room is a good size and the living room has Sky and a wireless laptop for you to use, plus books and DVD's. There is even a remote for the side lights! It backs onto Oudle road, but there was very little noise, and nothing from the other flats in the block. I will stay there again if I return to Peterborough and it's available.

Immaculate Apartments

Posted by a Traveller from London, United States

PSA offers the best alternative to hotels for short and long term stays. Everything is included, internet access, laptop computer, kitchen with most things you need to get by.

The PSA apartments are immaculate and David is very accommodating and understanding to everything his guests need when away from home. They are decorated and furnished in a modern, comfortable theme.

The apartments themselves are located in a quiet new residential neighbourhood, which a pleasant environment.

Local shops and supermarkets are a walk away, access to the A1M motorway is a short drive away. Train station and city centre are reasonably close (5 -10 min drive, if that).

London M25 is 1 hour away in Friday rush hour. Possibly quicker in off peak times.

I found PSA after looking for alternative s to hotel stay after taking a short term IT contract in Peterborough. PSA offers me flexibility in hire like a hotel, with all the facilities of a furnished apartment without the restriction of rental period minimums. No more takeaways thank god! And near enough to work in Peterborough I can pop home for lunch!!

Occasionally my partner and kids come up at the weekend, instead of me going back home. There is great park at Ferry Meadows and huge softplay area called Big Sky 5 mins away. You are also not too far from Woburn Safari Park and Knebworth.

Thoroughly recommended and be assured of a great stay.

You will find the Peterborough serviced apartments are within walking distance of everything including the City Centre, pubs, restaurants, train station, and grocery store, and gym. The appartments are very nice inside, and are very new. The management is first rate, and ultra accomodating. High speed internet, satellite tv, washer dryer, stereo, cd alarm clock, all the comforts of home.

Peterborough appartments save the day!

Posted by a Traveller from parkinson, Australia

My wife and I immigrated from Australia in September 2006. After spending a month in motels and eating take-away it was so nice to arrive to a very CLEAN and comfortable appartment we could cook in. It came with everything, even drinks and munchies in the fridge. Things like internet access when trying to look for work was extremly invaluable for us. The appartment is in a safe area and is a close and easy walk to all ammenities and the railway station. David the owner was so helpful, honest and nice to us. We can highly recommend the appartment for a pleasent stay.

Celebrate - The National Poet of Scotland

Robert Burns

2009 marks the 250th anniversary of Scottish poet Robert Burns' birth. Burns was a poet and a lyricist and is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland.

The Burns Supper was started a few years after his death by a group of his friends; they held the supper to honour and remember Burns. The tradition caught on and the ritual of Burns Supper is now held all around the world.

His life and work will be celebrated throughout the year at many Burns-related events.
