Regular buses serve all the major towns and many of the visitor attractions around Shropshire are accessible by bus: including Shrewsbury Castle, Iron Bridge and the gastronomer's delight - Ludlow.

The main bus operators serving the Shrewsbury area are:

  • Arriva Cymru
  • Arriva Midlands North
  • First PMT
  • Park & Ride
  • Shrewsbury town centre benefits from a number of Park and Ride schemes which reduce congestion in the town.
  • The car parks are located at Harlescott to the north of the town of Shrewsbury, Meole Brace in the south and Oxon in the west. Parking is free and the bus fare is cheap. The town centre car parks and on-road parking are all pay and display.

Park & Ride Buses operate:

  • Every 10 minutes
  • Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 18:30
  • Saturday, 08:00 to 18:30
  • Sundays - no buses
