Stratford-upon-Avon Travel Guide

Because of one W. Shakespeare it as though the last four hundred years never happened in Stratford-upon-Avon. The understandable urge to preserve everything as it was in the Bard’s day, means that you get a fascinating insight into all sorts of aspects of Elizabethan life: gardening, medicine, and architecture, to name but a few. That said, for most people the highlight of any visit is a trip to the theatre; the Royal Shakespeare Company regularly perform in three venues across the town.
