Built in 1866 this imposing Jacobean style house is nestled in 157 acres of grounds, and provides Stratford upon Avon accommodation to visitors from all over the world. This country house hotel was acquired by Menzies Hotels in August 2003 and has since undergone a major refurbishment programme.
The luxury Stratford hotel´s impressive lounge was once the Great Hall and has the original oak panelling, ornate mirrors, chandeliers and period furniture. The massive marble fireplace has also been retained, providing an impressive focal point within our luxury, country house hotel’s accommodation. The log fire is particularly welcoming in the winter months.
The hotel has a total of 78 bedrooms comprising newly refurbished modern contemporary garden rooms, superior rooms, four poster rooms and suites.
