It is a Georgian farmhouse built in the late 1700’s. The Chirnells is situated 2.½ miles from the market town of Rothbury in the centre of Northumberland.

The Chirnells is 3 miles from Cragside house with in easy driving distance of Northumberland's beautiful coast, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Wallington Hall the Roman Wall, Kielder Water, 7 Spectacular Castles, 30 minutes drive from Newcastle Upon Tyne, 45 minutes from the Scottish Borders and only 2 hours from the capital of Scotland Edinburgh. Or if you prefer a walking holiday the Coquet valley has plenty to offer.
