Whitley Bay Playhouse is situated in the picturesque costal town in the North East.
The Playhouse was first opened in 1913 flanked on all four corners by French Renaissance towers producing a stunning effect. Throughout the 1950’s the theatre mainly hosted films until the 1970’s where it combined to host amateur productions.
