There are few direct coaches into The Dales area, which is best accessed via main coach termini at Darlington, Leeds or York.

National Express drop off points within the area include:

• Catterick, Keighley Bus station, Shipley, Market Square, Skipton Bus station.
• All but Catterick offer at least one direct service to London per day with a journey time of around 6 hours.
