One of the finest private collections of trees and shrubs in the country, Thorp Perrow Arboretum offers an 85 acre woodland garden and falconry centre. Unique to Britain, if not Europe, in that it was the creation of one man, Colonel Sir Leonard Ropner (1895 - 1977) and is now owned and managed by Sir John Ropner.
