We booked into one of the one bedroomed houses but when we arrived they were all taken so we were put into the four bedroomed house goody we thought. The manager then proceeded to lock all the doors with the exception of the main living room/kitchen one bathroom and a bedroom! The furniture was old, scruffy and the sofas none too clean. The kitchen was horrible you could'nt open the drawers properly because they hit against the cooker. It was so horrible we left after four nights.

My family and I have been to Badger Hill many times. We have had a most happy time here with so much to do and see in Knaresborough alone. We have a warm welcome from staff, rooms are always clean and tidy with everything you can possibly need for your stay. I would certainly recommend a stay here if its peace and tranquility you are after but only a minutes walk into the town for a good day out. The train station is near too. I give Badger Hill a massive 10/10.
