Spurn Head to Hornsea Travel Guide

The Holderness Coast is eroding faster than any other in Europe, while Spurn Head, the hook at the southern end of it, grows each year, and is a plays temporary home to thousands of migratory birds. To the north is the attractive town of Hornsea and the country’s largest lake, Hornsea Mere. To discover more about the locality, head to the Hornsea Museum, which unsurprisingly also boasts a good selection of early Hornsea Pottery.

His life and work will be celebrated throughout the year at many Burns-related events.
