From the Lake District National Park's only coastal village of Ravenglass to the foot of England's highest mountains, small steam engines carry passengers on the oldest narrow gauge railway in the country through seven glorious miles of the most spectacular scenery in the country.

In 2002 Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway received the award for most popular attraction in the Western Lake District.
