Rushen Abbey, a ruined Savignac/Cistercian Abbey built on the banks of the Silverburn River in the village of Ballasalla is situated on the Isle of Man near the town of Douglas.

Today the site is owned by the Isle of Man Government and is run as a Heritage Centre by Manx National Heritage. The site is open to the public from 10.00am to 5.00pm daily between April and October. An entrance fee... More details
