Preston Travel Guide

Preston is often regarded as the capital of Lancashire, and is an ancient settlement that dates back to Roman times. These days it is home to the National Football Museum, and the local team is one of the oldest in the English league. There are three other good museums for you to visit: the Harris Museum & Art Gallery: the Museum of Queen’s Lancashire Regiment; and the Roman Museum.
