National Express operates coaches to hub coach stations at Liverpool & Manchester from across the UK. Connections by bus or taxi can be easily made from either station to the airport.
Train & coach travel to LPL is made easy by airport Jetlink buses to nearby train & coach stations.
A free express coach service for easyJet passengers departs from the LPL terminal building and travels non-stop to and from Manchester Piccadilly railway station and Manchester coach station. The service is currently free of charge. For passengers flying with all other airlines The Liverpool Express also travels at quarter to and quarter past the hour, from outside the terminal into Liverpool City centre.
Hunts Cross rail station is on the Merseyrail Northern Line with regular trains to & from Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington & Southport. Airlink bus service 81A connects the airport to Hunts Cross every half hour.
Garston has trains to local stations including Southport & Liverpool. Airlink bus service 80A runs from the airport to Garston every 15 minutes.
Runcorn is on the West Coast main line for trains to London, Birmingham & Crewe. Airlink bus services 82A/82B connects the airport to Runcorn every 30 minutes.
