Rathlin Island is a true break from it all and a nature-lover’s paradise. With no cars allowed on the island and everything within easy reach either by foot, hired bicycle or minibus shuttle if you prefer, it’s the perfect place to take your time wandering about.
Mill Bay is home to hundreds of seals and nearly countless nesting seabirds; guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes and puffins in spring and early summer. There are secluded churches, the West Lighthouse Viewpoint and the National Trust’s Ballyconagan Nature Reserve with spectacular views out to the North Antrim coastline, Donegal and Scotland.
