Yorkston Guest House

Yorkston Guest House was built in 1868 from two adjoining town houses and has been family run by the Mackenzie family for the past 50 years. The house is centrally situated and is close to the town centre and the West Port.

There are ten bedrooms of varying sizes offering a variety of accommodation. We have two single, one double and one twin bedded room without en-suite facilities, and twin bedded rooms, double rooms and a large family room all with shower ensuite.

There is easy access to the golf courses, shops, restaurants and cafe bars. The Lade Braes walk, St. Andrews Museum and Kinburn bowling and putting greens are all nearby.

Getting There

Yorkston Guest House is situated in the 'west end' of the town, a few minutes walk from the historic west port, and 8 - 10 minutes walk from the first tee of the Old Course.

  • By Rail
  • The nearest railway station is Leuchars (approx. 6 miles away). There are regularly buses from the station to St. Andrews. Alternatively taxis are usually available.
  • By Car
  • St. Andrews is approximately a one hour drive from Edinburgh (allow extra time during rush hour for congestion at the Forth Road Bridge).
